Not really,
There are 2 Saint Valentines that were martyrs in the late 3rd century. The romantic customs started in England and France in the middle ages. It is just that business has corrupted another spiritual holiday into one of fun and profits.

But I still miss you and hope you are having a good Valentines Day.
