sigh... people buy their homes in a place that is loud and noisy and run down cause it's cheap. Then they get all up in arms that it is loud and noisy and want it fixed. It's like someone buying a place next to an airport who goes to city council to demand quiet. So annoying.

I haven't been to Polk in years. I do believe the first bar I ever went to was Polk Gulch Saloon in 1983... what a wild street it was back then.

After all it is the city and Polk Street/SF needs the bar business...the locals that want quiet should move to the North Bay!
