So new years eve was ok, we just sat at home and watched TV, K-1 (with all these fighters from different backrounds, ie Judo vs. Boxing, wrestlingvs. jujitsu etc...) and Kohaku (the end of year 4 hr music performance on NHK). Yeah I saw that one too (it was actually the 23rd, but whos counting:D), like I said, he has a tendancy to strip...But I liked Music Stations music show (the one you linked) more than Kohaku, Kohaku was about 50% Enka, bleh!

DJ Ozma`s performance was the weirdest thing I`ve seen on Japanese television. What was scary was that my host family didn`t have their eyes wide open in horror the entire time like I did. They just discussed with each other about whether the women were really naked or if it was just body suits. WHAT THE HELL?!

My eyes werent open in horror, more like, I was rubbing them to make sure I wasnt the only one seeing a squaron of naked dancers with huge feathery hats.

Yeah. Maybe I just got a family that doesn`t freak out about seemingly-naked people on TV, because I was kind of wondering why I was the only person amazed at what was on the TV in front of us.

hahahahaha my host mom was like O_o; too. She wasn`t sure if it was real or not. No one really freaked out though. My thoughts "no way there are naked people on TV...wait, it`s Japan"
