A nice way of revealing the secret through the diary! I love fics in which Clark tells Lex the truth and it turns out to be a good thing. ;)

Me too. For me, Lex, at least at the beggining of the show, was so eager to know the truth, that he would have reacted well to Clark telling him, trusting him.

Before the lies and suspicions and hurts got too thick, Lex would have been thrilled to be trusted! I can't fault Clark, since he really is at risk telling his Secret, but I truly believe that Lex would have been the greatest protector that Secret and Clark would have had if Clark had given Lex that gift of trust.

I mean. Lex would have helped Clark out. The best fic I have ever read about how Lex reacts to Clark's secret and protects him and helps him out is Drilling Holes.
