I refuse to believe "Californium" and "Americium" are elements.

Where is the Alaskium or Canadium?

Well, if an Alaskan or a Canadian had discovered these elements, they might have just been called that. But they'll probably have to really love their home state/country to really do that. Personally, I'd be pompous enough would name them after myself if I discovered a new element (and was able to keep it stable for the required amount of time).

There's Berkelium (as in Berkeley the university) but its half life is like... so short that it might as well not exist.
