I am sitting at the desk in the brand new loft in Brooklyn, eating last night's chinese and watching a cat climb down the fire escape outside the window. The last few days have been so surreal. Boston was nice, eventhough I spent much of my time there in the hospital. Now I am back in the city and I have to go into Manhattan to get a haircut. I

i play a lot of spider solitaire. it seems to be my only coping mechanism for things. i played it until late after the good-byes. i miss you, indignance and laughing at others' ridiculousness isn't as fun with out you.
