today we played at my friend whitney's house with her two boys, braxton and parker. braxton is just a few weeks older than norah, and parker a few months older than levi. whitney and i were great friends in college and always have lots to talk about--but i'll get to that in a minute

I must tell you I relate to the "balm" part of your story as I've learned to have conversations with my mother-friends! I've tried to perfect the start-stop conversation, usually with me remembering where we left off! I'm sure it's even crazier with 2 mothers! Just being with a friend is often the only real balm I need, though. Well put as usual. ~ Sarah B
