had your friend read this book? by sue monk kidd? i just finished reading it again... she talks about how most transformations take place in darkness, caterpillar, baby, Christ in the tomb, ect...

praying for time of "quiet"... that though your words may be few... your heart will still be alive and speaking loudly to you!

yes! this is exactly the book she (my friend jamie) was talking about! ginny reddick has read it and reread it too... maybe i should pick up a copy. i just finished smk's 'the dance of the dissident daughter.' a wonderfully written book, of course, and challenging in a way that is difficult to put into words.
