I love my sister but there are members of my family I can't stand for various reasons. I have come to terms with the fact that I do not want them in my life and although I am supposed to, I may not love them.

My mom talked to a reverend once, as a counselor, and he told her that it is ok to not love someone in your family. That was a very healing thing, for both of us.

I am not saying you don't love your sister, or that someday you won't forgive and forget, I am saying that you don't have to treat her a cerain way just because she is a relative. Especially with how she treats you. I realize that you do not need my permission to feel a certain way but sometimes it is nice to have someone who understands.

Having this experience has made me realise that friends are important, plus you get to pick them, unlike family. And it is goof to hear from someone who understands. I cant really talk about it with my other family members because they just want to all get along.

While he was there she kept refering to him as "the hamburger" because they ate hamburger for dinner. She said "The hamburger was bad" melissa said "I really could only have hamburger in moderation."

snerk.

sorry about Marlinda being such a cow to you, Fran, but you sound like you are happier back in England. That was quite the adventure for you both. I guess now you know for sure you are where you should be. :)
