six-thirty p.m.
Costume intact, I approach the Lager House and nearly topple from the crusty ice caps of the curb back into Michigan Ave. while carrying all my gear. I survive and enter the bar. Man, it sounds like that write a novel month didn't pan out? It never does, in my experience.

Anyway sweet post, it sounds like you're in a sweet band! Hopefully I'll be around to see you on New Year's, although I have logistical things to figure out. In any event, don't get too successful; I don't want you leaving GLMS.

Also, you should blog more.

1. Strangely, I actually cheated at NaNoWriMo; I had written 6,000 words in October not even thinking of NaNoWriMo, but when November rolled around, I stopped writing. I have 6,700-some words written, and I really like a lot of it, but I have to go back and rework some stuff before I can move on in good conscience. Also, time is not a readily available commodity at the moment, so everything will have to wait.

2. I'll likely never leave GLMS, we may take sabbaticals from time to time, but the core of the group has lasted almost a decade at this point and I don't think anyone is ready to cash in their chips just yet.
