Since my move to Ypsilanti a week ago, I've resigned myself to staying at the new place, reading books, working on music, and generally staying out of the public eye. Partly this is to save money (no more going out to the bars for a while) and partly because it's been a while since I gave myself the opportunity to just simmer in my own thoughts

I'm thrilled that you're still writing, and that you've found a nice place to do so. It's crazy to think about someday having your CD, and my CD player, and some time to listen to it.

The fog on the bridge that night was key. It's hard to get me up so high, but with friends like these by my side I'll do anything that's required for a memorable evening. When we stepped outside I thought, "Is all this beauty reserved for only our eyes? And, if so, how are we supposed to show those who say, 'Oh, oh, oh, who am I to be caught up in this something I don't understand?'" When Kevin puked off the bridge it was time to walk down to the water's edge. We heard some assholes catcall us and got into a fight on the most beautiful autumn night of the year.
