there's the word crescendo again ha... great entry, who is this William Stafford btw, seems interesting, taoist almost eh lol :P. How are things going btw?
word crescendo again? sorry, you lost me. what was that about? i just discovered william stafford while reading a webpage which quoted him. actually, it is a really good webpage which you should read: http://wisdombridge.net/nc_commencement.htm
I then went on to look him up on wikipedia. he is cool. also, his most famous poem i apparently studied in poetry or english class because it sounds really familiar.

Embarrassingly, I've never heard of William Stafford. The pieces are beautiful! In my spare time, I occasionally indulge in poetry submissions. Poets Market 2007 is particularly helpful. Although rejection hurts, I find that occasionally editors will write back to you with constructive feedback and through Poets Market I have found websites and magazines that were interested in publishing my work.

thanks for this note.. i've recently decided to actually look into this book you reccommended. i have it out of the library right now. finding it a bit hard to battle my insecurity demons about my writing though... but all the same, thanks for the jolt. :)
