How can you be angry at someone who doesn't know they've hurt you?

I went through a huge chunk of my life with a friend who during that time I adored and thought I could never live without, then one day I seemed to look at her and ask myself that very question, but it was true, I was mad at her, not for anything she had done intentionally, or anything she even to this day knows she did.

I think feelings of animosity can simply develop, and while sometimes they can be for no real reason, often times they are meaningful. Something about your relationship is not to your liking and you get upset that you didn't see it earlier. I don't know your situation but I would say don't swallow it, now that you are mad at this person, depending on the situation the feeling may never retreat. You can always try and change the situation. Nothing is ever set in stone, and if you just swallow it, it will never go away.

Sorry, that was long and probably confusing. Just trying to help.
