My mother gave me permission to marry Jack White. Well, she actually said, "I wouldn't mind having him as a son-in-law" but that is a total hint.

My mother says he sounds like satan, lol. I tried playing her some of the Stripes' softer songs ('We're Going To Be Friends', 'You've Got Her In Your Pocket' etc.), but she's still not convinced. Some people just don't know what's good for them.
If you really want to marry him then I guess you'd have to dye your hair red. I've heard he digs that ;)
