MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!!
Hope you've had/are having a good one.

I watched Léon - The Professional yesterday and omg young Natalie Portman is amazing. She's a perfect little Lolita, loved her. Gary Oldman was good, too. I really don't know why I've never watched that film before, it's sort of a classic, but now I did and I enjoyed it muchly. ( Read more... )

I like showing off my bruises to people, and hearing stories of other people's bruises. Since the majority of my bruises are from fencing, it's kind of a badge of honor thing, saying yeah, I got that one off that guy over there and that one on my leg was an amazing touch and things like that. Except once I had an awful bruise on my arm, and people asked me if it was from fencing, but it was from running into my door!

I watched leon last night as well AND GOD. i think i died SO MUCH at both of them. hoidsfhoesf when he sent her down that tunnel or whatever and told her he loved her and ahhhhhhhhh i know it's all wrong but it's so... dfkgtehrei DAMN. And her last line before the movie ended.. I cried unnaturally much XD so much love. it actually even made me reconsider the non-existance of a favorite movie in my movie-myspace-bit!

We seem to have a pretty similar taste in movies, have you noticed? First the unearthly obsession with Donnie Darko, now this (I didn't cry though). I like your taste, girl ;)
Did you see Thr Science Of Sleep? I've already recommended it here, but seeing as we've got a similar taste I think I'll do it again - WATCH IT!

since you mentioned harry potter...

I'll tell you that i sort of hate it. I read the first five but after that the hysteria of the fandom really turned me off. I think it's embaressing that harry potter and all it's bloody references are so deeply ingrained in our generation.
But nobody knows how much it pisses me off. I'm afraid that if try to explain my views i'll dismissed as a pretentious git and never spoken to again!
