Yeah! Rhaunen.... Did you get a chance to go by the base, erm ex-base? There was a really good restaurant in Rhaunen - if you took the main road into Rhaunen from our house and took the curve to the left, the place was just around the corner. They had excellent salads. Unfortunately I don't remember the name. But I believe it is across from the Rathaus.

I hope you took a picture of our house - it'd be interesting to see what it looks like now. Is there still a farm field to the left of the house? Are you guys going to make it to Trier or Koblenz? Both Grandma and Grandpa and myself got stuck in the train depot in Koblenz. Met many interesting characters but had a great time. If you get a chance to visit Munich, please please please visit the MarienPlatz and the Hofbräuhaus and drink a MoB and eat some cheese spaetzle for me ( ... )

Yes, yes, yes, to Rhaunen and the air force base. Many more answers and thoughts about those to come....

Unfortunately, we are not making it to Trier :( but we will get to Munich. I will certainly try the cheese spaetzle and drink, sounds delish!

I don't remember ever going to a concentration camp, but Dachau was definitely on our list. We didn't get to make it to Auschwitz, so we will be sure to get to Dachau. (To be honest, I'm not sure I could have taken Auschwitz. The Jewish Museum in Budapest was almost enough for me.)

Unfortunately, no filming while we were in Prague, though we did see the river Vin Diesel speeds through in 'XXX' (whoopdi-do), but I REALLY wish we could have seen the place that 'Mission Impossible' was filmed.

And yes, please send that information our way. We'll be headed there the last week or so of April.
