Also, wtf was with that two-second shot of the Harry/Cho kiss making it look all...dramatic? Wasn't that scene, you know...really awkward?

Yeah, that part reminded me of when they made the (completely and 100% platonic) hug between Harry and Hermione seem all dramatic and true-love-y in the GoF trailer.
