oh my god i ADORED THIS.

Mostly it was earning Ray a gold medal in the Stare Anywhere But At Your Partner Changing Olympics.

ahahaha!

It seemed more like an “I’ve got something important that I want to say” look. Except Fraser could get that look when he was talking about lichen.

So very, very true.

“Mama said you’re like the Beast because you yell a lot but you don’t mean it.”

“She said that, did she?”

Becky nodded, her face solemn. “And she said Mr. Fraser is like Belle because he’s so pretty.”

Maria's a secret F/V shipper, is she?

“Your family has never been anything but welcoming to me, Ray. I appreciate that.” There was a pause, and Ray took the lull to rinse out his mouth. “Family is important. You’re very lucky to have yours.”

AW FRASER! His family never took him to Disneyland.

He asked me how our mother felt about homosexual relations. If she would disown a hypothetical someone who might engage in them.”Fraser and his transparent hypothetical situations are LOVE. And I love how he's trying to figure out what Ray ( ... )

Eeeeee YAY thank you so much!

Maria's a secret F/V shipper, is she?

In my heart of hearts, I totally think she is. It would seem hard not to be, just watching them together.

Of COURSE he took personal responsibility for every step of his and Ray's relationship.

He is just so very FRASER sometimes. I kind of love him.

Thank you again for the fantastic feedback!

Oh, that made me so happy. I love Ray trying to set-up a seduction, only to have Fraser steer them with the family so he could make it easier for Ray when and if they finally got together. And I ADORE the stuff with Frannie. It's not easy for her, it's not going to be, and she makes Ray nuts, but he loves her and she loves him, and that's always going to be the bottom line. The scene outside the Talking Tiki Room reminded me of the scene in "Heaven and Hell" in the interrogation room in all the best ways.

Thank you!

Thank you very much! I'm really relieved that the stuff with Frannie worked out. It was much more schizophrenic in the first draft and I love Frannie and didn't want to do wrong by her. Yay for betas. :)

Awwww, this is fantastic and adorable and I'll just be over here melted into a big contented pile of awwwww BOYS.

Also, I loved all of Ray's interactions with Becky. Especially this:

“You think they’ll have a - what’d you call it?”

“Cogsworth?”

“Yeah, Cogsworth. Think he’ll be here?”

She pursed her lips thoughtfully, but Ray could see the glee shining in her eyes. “I don’t know. Maybe! Do you think we could see, Uncle Ray?”

“We certainly can.” Ray smiled down at Becky. “Maybe we’ll even see Beast.”

Because it's just so Ray and then with Fraser looking at him and smiling. Wonderful.

“You should’ve brought Fraser something. You’re a terrible boyfriend.”

You know, I bravely held it together right up until here and then I fell to shameless, teary, happy pieces. :)

And they parked in the Pumbaa lot! Um, so I totally love the scene in the Tiki room. By the way, that is a room where I've personally been traumatized by fake birds on more than one occasion. ;)

Heee. The last time I was there they had added Iago from Aladdin to the mix and really the last thing that room needed was Gilbert Godfrey. *hugs* Thank you!
