It's the Be Good Tanyas! They annoy the hell out of some people, but I went through a stage of being addicted to that album. I've never looked for any other album by them - assuming there is one. If I remember properly they are Canadian? Folky, bluegrassy. Slightly annoying tone of voice from one of the women, but it grows on you.
