Now this is what the Internet was made for! Hilarity has most assuredly ensued. I may have lost some dignity in the eyes of some, but I've gained a great deal of laughter. Fair trade.

humor, stupidity

I wonder if he'll realize how much I egged him on any time soon.

Wow, nothing beats ad hominem, which is Latin for "nothing useful to contribute". ;P

I went through the same thing while trying to explain to some damned hippy that protesting has outlived its usefulness as an agent for social/political change, but what's sad is that I can't even remember the name of the guy whose journal I left it in...

At first I was actually picking holes in his dumbass argument. Then it went to him making personal attacks for no reason, so I played along. It was fun.

And you did a fabulous job. The world needs more people like you to keep the rest of us humble, balanced and laughing at ourselves.

Yeah. Difference is, you do it by pointing out actuall errors while this other fuckwhit tires to do it by thorwing out big words, thinly veiled insults and personal attacks. Yay interwebs!

I've delt w/ this one before. There is also one called crazymaxwell or something. Whenever I'd call either one of them, they'd pull the same stuff, and by the time I'd thoroughly explained where the huge glitches in their posts were, I was bing called a doodoo head, mostly in pictures by Max.

I wonder if commenting in that thread to challenge his own existence on an ontological basis would help. From what his method is, I would guess not so I'll pass on this one. Nice getting the beast out there Anituel.

aww. i tried to comment, but i am not a friend of the otherkin community. :)

although he was definitely the bigger ass in terms of behavior, as far as actual assertions go, i disagree with both of you.

Philosophy muddies the waters of consciousness with bits and pieces of baseless assumptions and inconsistent logic.

is this trolling or do you really back this statement?

No, I just said that to get him angry. But you'll note I did so more elegantly than his calling me a faggot and making religious insults. ;-) I actually respect philosophers who do what they're supposed to. I just think that this guy is a philosopher who does the opposite of what they're supposed to.

haha, i loved the 'faggot' part. especially considering that the father of philosophy himself spent an entire dialog (the lysis) flirting with twelve year old boys at wrestling practice. :)

Hahaha. Yeah, I was considering pointing out something similar, but decided that I could silently enjoy the irony with a few friends instead. :-)
