Kitty Update
Well, Cole is getting settled in and the family seems to be getting a bit more sane, at least at the feline level. Here's a quick update with some recent photos. Hey what can I say - I'm a proud Papa, so I gotta show off the pics of the kids!

I don't think we had Brandon yet when y'all were still living in the area; he's an EVIL rescued feral tomcat who shares space with us. I've always been more "dog people" than "cat people," but Brandon stole my heart. He acts more like a dog than like the stereotype of a cat; I'm guessing it's the early-life feral pack mentality. When we first "met" him, he was part of a small feral colony; he was born in an alley behind a tweak house (it don't get much more alley cat than that). He used to follow Tami everywhere, every time she left the house this tiny little black furball would be dogging her feet (catting her feet, I guess). He really stole my heart -- he looks a little bit like Delenn, so I guess that would be "Bitch, meet Bastid" if we ever put them together! =:o
