Our Primate recently penned an editorial denouncing the passage of Proposition 8 in California. Since he opened this blog to comments I thought I would add my 93 cents. I found the chorus of sycophants particularly annoying and I have to wonder if I was the only one whose comments were left unscreened. Both Keith418 and Baal_Kriah make good points too, but neither cuts to the core of formulaic problems here. I too would love to see Sabazius take a stand for group marriages ( ... )

But advancement in the Order should be of mutual benefit. We should gain from the magikal formula and the Order should gain from our participation. I am trying to do my duty as a KRE and have to say I am enjoying it immensely. I love being able to kneel before the altar and kiss the knees of my beautiful priestesses, put the fear of God into initiates and carry on a lively, informative and enjoyable dialogue with intelligent and enthusiastic students. But it serves my ends too. I am actively working out magikal formulae in the Mass and seeking peers to work with through initiation and classes. It must be a two way street.
