I feel your pain. I have many days like that. Not the having to go out in snowy conditions (one of the perks of being at home with the kids) but the failing to plan for every possible problem the day could throw at me. It is hard to keep up with everything that could get in the way of a perfect, or at least pretty decent, day.
On my way home from picking v2.4 up at preschool I was actually thinking about how successful I've been on that front so far this week. I'll go search around for a bit of wood to knock on. Built in bookshelves in the computer temple. Okay wood knock.
