society is just a group of people that comes up with dumb sets of unwritten rules that you cant break, but are taboo conversation topics, unless youre talking about someone who broke the unwritten rules, so you cant really be sure exactly what those rules are, so no matter what, you usually end up with the social elitists talking about your rule violations when youre not there.

All rules are unwritten, yes. However, I would argue that they're not "dumb" because an overwelming majority of our society follows these 'rules'.

This just doesn't make much sense...

I have mixed feelings about this.

On one hand, I wouldn't follow everyone else just because.
But on the other, society's "rules" aren't dumb. They give meaning to an otherwise pointless existence.
