Last year I kept a list of all of the books I read over the year and a couple of line on what I thought of them. I found the exercise very interesting and have reread the entry many times over the last year. As is obvious from the last entry I am going to do it again this year (although without the 1 hour and 30 mins on a train every working day ( Read more... )

My friend Zoe always does that but I can never remember to write them down ;o(
I started a book list and a movie list but I its not complete.
I'd best find it and write what I can remember in it.

Hi there

Well I was pretty diligent with the book list right up until I stopped being able to update LJ at work so this year things may not go so smoothly but hopefully I will just be diligent.

Apologies, but I thought this might be the best way to contact you easily - I hear you're going to be in Oxford at the weekend, and I'd love to meet up with you to have lunch or somesuch if you are free, so please contact me if you have the chance - triskellian has my various contact details. Also, I appear to have some of your Robin of Sherwood DVDs, which I'd be happy to exchange with the Sherlock Holmes DVDs of mine that I believe you have, so could you bring them if possible? I only randomly checked this but I will definately bring the DVDs up. We are only around for Friday Night and some of Sat and are having lunch with Ralph and Liz but I am sure we could turn it into a larger gathering. I will try and contact you today or tomorrow.

I don't know if you will see this in time, but yes, I will be coming to the Ball - however, I am unlikely to arrive before 11:00pm, as I have a work function (I'm now Development Officer at Lincoln College) until then - so my time at the Ball will of necessity be brief. If I miss you there, just give me a call on the Saturday, or I'll call.
