That sounds like a very nasty thing indeed and I'm sorry to hear that you're suffering.

My friend Liz (yep, that one) has just been in hospital to have a similar abscess removed from her cleavage. It was very painful and horrid but she says the draining was pretty routine and it's healing up really well. Hopefully you'll not have to go that far but even if you do it sounds like it was pretty straightforward and hopefully not too scary.

Vis sit vobiscum, and similar sympathetic sentiments.

(I blame it on all this unnecessary healthiness, personally;)
