Yesterday was a crazy hard day at work. We had a special fancy dinner, and my job was to carry a tray of hor doevres all night. I didn't have a chance to put it down for two hours. It was awful. Got back from the beach today, and it was wonderful and invigorating. I love to get sunburned, jump in the waves, dig in the sand, and forget all about my age and that I am no longer quite the right sort of person to be rolling around in the sand or shrieking as cold water splashes about my legs.
