Signed up for my first bingo card. I'm really getting into this whole fandom thing.

It's Ladies Bingo, which means I get to write all the fic about the ladies. I haven't decided which lines I'm taking for the bingo, but these are my tropes, below the cut. Anybody got any prompts for me on any of the tropes? Any fandom I write for, as long as it's about the ladies.

My bingo scorecard! )

fic, fic bingo

This looks like it'll be fun. I saw that tielan signed up as well. There should be some really good fic coming out of this!

First thing that popped in my mind was the Miles from anywhere: Geographical Isolation square would work for your zoologists au -- maybe the ladies having a poker night or some such, no men allowed?

Fairy Tales and Folklore -- didn't you have an idea for Natasha as a rusalka once upon a time? (see what I did there?)

I'm pretty sure Harlequin AU would be something along the lines of one of those cheesy romance novels -- you know with Fabio on the cover? I'll admit to having read my fair share of cheesy romance novels in my time.

ETA -- Voyeurism -- Felicity watching Oliver work out. That salmon ladder thing -- yummy.

Yeah, I followed her LJ entry to the link and decided to sign up as well. I've always wanted to do a bingo, but I keep missing them and I don't really write kink, so can't do kink bingo. I like the idea of ladies poker night at the SHIELD base in Antarctica. They could even have Crimson and Clover there with them, pecking feebly at the pot in the middle ( ... )

You're scarily accurate about the male Harlequin hero, but usually he's redeemed by the love of the heroine and they live happily ever after. The reasons for the dickishness are varied, and I've read some where I'm practically screaming at the heroine "RUN! Get away as fast as you can, he's not worth it!"

Would it be in the rules for one fic to fill two squares? The Rusalka!Natasha fic would also fill Unmixy things: Weird crossovers.

Ooohhhh and Drugs -- Felicity being given Vertigo? Which also reminds me -- have you seen that RedToes has posted another Oliver/Felicity fic?

Five Times -- either five times Natasha rescued the Avengers (one for each of the guys?) or five times Felicity saved the day.

OMG -- Telepathy -- Pern!Natasha impressing her dragon!!!!

I think you should just go for a bingo-card blackout -- fill them all! =D

Natasha keeping a diary? Also, Natasha, Maria and/or Kate and vulnerabilities?

Oh, that would be interesting, especially Kate after the last issue of Hawkeye... Hmmm.

Five things Clint didn't know about Natasha before they [became partners][became lovers][moved in together][became Avengers]. And one thing [he did][she didn't know about him].

Thanks for the prompt! I don't know if I'll use it because I've seen it done really well in other places and the POV character would be Clint, not Natasha, but I appreciate it. :)

Right. Ladies. Missed that ... :-(

If it's been done before I must go look -- I got into the fandom so late, I managed to miss a lot of good stuff ...

You can always flip it to things Natasha didn't know about Maria Hill! :-)

Then I'd just be writing the flipside of a fic I just finished. :)

I love her shocked look when Donny (I'm spelling it that way because Donnie is my dad when we're around extended family and my dad is waaaaay better than that douchebag) starts screaming in pain because she really was not expecting that.

And then she kept going anyway because Alison Hendrix is hardcore.

I loved when she spun her little rack of colorful craft scissors. ALISON. ALISON.

I love Alison. I love that her response to Sarah telling her she might need backup was to send the kids to the grandparents', and sit down in her craft room with her cell phone and her gun on the table, and a glass of wine.

Arranged marriage (in a fantasy AU or something like that) - where Natasha's father is a nobleman and wants her to marry another nobleman (Loki? Thor? Anthony?); but this isn't what his daughter wants. She wants to go see the world and have adventures with her friends (Clint, Maria, Steve - who aren't of noble descent but what Natasha likes is their skills. It's perfectly okay if she falls in love with Clint - they've shared all of their secrets already - but imagine what kind of fit her father would have.)
