Who is your favorite character in 2?
Lorelai Gilmore, no contest. I think part of it is Lauren Graham’s delivery, obviously, but even when she’s being her most selfish and immature, I still root for her. Well, except for the arc where she randomly went out and married Christopher because the showrunners were assholes that don’t know how to tell an emotionally complete story.
Who is your least favorite character in 1?
Olivia Dunham! Queen of my heart. Really, no more needs to be said.
What is your favorite episode of 4?
Modern Warfare. I hooked half of my friends into watching this show with that episode and it stands today as one of the most perfect episodes of television today.
What is your favorite season of 5?
Wellllllll, there’s only one season so far.
What is your favorite relationship (can include friendships) in 3?
Chuck/Sarah, but not canon Chuck/Sarah because that one got shot in the head with Season Three. I love Chuck and Sarah’s early relationships when they genuinely liked each other as people and not because the plot told them to.
Who is your anti-relationship in 2?
Oh, GOD SO MANY CHOICES. Rory/Jess, Rory/Dean, Rory/Logan, Rory/Anybody, apparently because ughhhhh. And Lorelai/Christopher. And Lane/Zach. SO MANY ANTI-RELATIONSHIPS. GO SUCK A LEMON AMY SHERMAN-PALLADINO.
How long have you watched 1?
I watched it from the start except for the bit where I stopped watching and then came back for Season Two.
Who is your favorite actor in 5?
Bwhahhaha. I keep picking trick questions because EVERYBODY ON THAT SHOW IS TATIANA MASLANY.
How did you become interested in 4?
I saw Joel McHale do some promotions for it online at NBC and he was funny, so I stuck around.
Which show do you prefer, 1, 3, or 5?
Right now? Orphan Black. In 2008? Chuck. In 2005? Gilmore Girls. It’s really a matter of what I find most interesting at the moment. Gilmore Girls drove itself off a cliff and I quit it three episodes from the end. Chuck got terribad in Season Three and never fully managed to course-correct enough for me to really like it again, so I’m left with a bunch of confused-and-conflicted feelings for when Chuck was a great show, and I made some of the best friends ever in that fandom.
Orphan Black hasn’t had a chance to disappoint me yet.
Which show have you seen more episodes from, 2 or 4?
Gilmore Girls, I think. 7 seasons vs. 3.5 seasons. I quote Community more now, though I’ll still whip out some Gilmorian sayings.
