I'm grinning so hard my cheeks hurt -- the picture in my head of the Howling Commandos playing with Crimson and Clover -- just too adorable!

I love Steve's shyness and Peggy's no-nonsense.

And now I know you got my good side -- does she have a bad side??

Now, I know the internet is an ... odd place, to say the least. And I should know better by now than to be surprised by what can up when you use google images. But still, I was totally not expecting what I found when I googled "husky penguin" looking for a pic of a husky and a penguin that could be Dernier and Clover. I found this:

I can't decide if I'm terrified or amused by that picture. Like, if I came across that in the wild, I'm pretty sure I would just start running. And I'm also pretty sure that would mean the doguin would think it's playtime and chase after me, only exacerbating matters.

See? This is problematic.

No, Peggy does not have a bad side. I've tried to find it. I watched Captain America: The First Avenger three times in a row, looking for a shot where Peggy looked bad, and I COULD NOT FIND IT.

I was kinda horrifically amused by the doguin (canineous waddleous), it's a little mesmerizing. And yes, it would totally give chase and the species is amazingly quick for an animal with 3 inch legs.

As I already gushed about this all over DW and I'm lazy and it's late, so I'll just reiterrate that I absolutely love it! I love Crimson and Clover playing with the pups, laughing Dum Dum and bumbling Steve. He and Peggy are absolutely adorable and I just want to smush them. Thanks so much for writing this for me :D
