It took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out how to post on there (thanksthe_raddy ! ), and I'm still trying to work ( Read more... )

I'm not a big fan of tumblr. It's hard to understand how it works at ALL. I kind of just bump along, hoping to find nice pictures, but it's set-up is completely screwy to me.

I'm glad you are still here, I haven't moved to tumblr or however you spell it, and my twitter was active for all of 4 days before I realized that since I don't have a phone with mobile internet, me twittering is just me sitting like a loser in front of my computer.

I really enjoy your book reviews, and I will try to comment more often. It doesn't help that Seamus and I now share one computer (my computer), and he's on it like white on rice most of the time.

I love you.

Your Land Before Time metaphors are cracking me up. XD

Livejournal and Tumblr are two VERY different weblogging tools. Livejournal exists for verbosity; it is literally an online journal that your friends can comment on and have conversations in. Tumblr is simply about sharing minutae; I like this thing and I'm going to post it on Tumblr. Now my friend has reblogged it because they also like this thing! I'm going to browse my dashboard now and see what things other people like. Etc, etc. And you're right...the commenting on Tumblr sucks balls, which is why a lot of people don't even bother with it. It's very limited, but I guess that's kind of the point?

I'm not going to leave Livejournal. I know I don't post here as often as I used to, but I have no other place to...well...get wordy! And I, for one, am glad you're posting here somewhat regularly again. :)
