He doesn't just live in the suburbs, he lives in one of the wealthiest suburbs in the state.

Nothing happens where he lives. Nothing.

Where's he moving to?

I will not tempt fate, and say in my...15ish years of city life, I have had my house and car both broken into. OTOH, my parents' house is firmly suburban and was also robbed, so...

He's moving to Seattle. Not sure where in the city yet, though. There's a lot of stuff up in the air for the next few months for him, including if the job will actually be in Seattle, as opposed to somewhere abroad.

Crime happens everywhere. Mpls is a lot safer than most of its suburbs.
