Well, it's official- the recession has finally hit our family, thanks to International Paper for buying out Temple Inland and giving us the absolute suckiest medical and dental insurance and crappy pay schedule combined with fewer hours. Time to buckle down on the sweeps and couponing. Thanking the Lord we still have a home at least- alot of people

It's been hitting us. With just one of us working, we hardly have food sometimes. :( It sucks so bad. Hang in there love. That's all any of us can really do.

One thing I like to do is go to southernsavers.com each week and match up what printable coupons they have for the buy one get one free items, which ring up half price- I got lots of really cheap groceries this week doing that. I do the same with Bilo- theirs wasn't as good as publix this week though. For example, 4-pack of Dole fruit in juice turned out to be like 44 cents each
