[Sometime in the morning, Scout's drone wife will call to him, letting him know a box has arrived in the mail

[The Captain was just standing by the sidewalk staring at a post card in disbelief. He looked in some sort of shock. With all the bad that had been going on this was a real surprise.

He didn't even notice Doc Scout run by shooting at first! Not even a flinch to the sound, just staring at a postcard.

[Runrunrunrun BLAM! Scout go zipping over the head of the Captain and lands on his roof.]

HEY RUMMY! You ain't the only one 'round here who can fly, now!

[He looked up and saw the new weapon. Thinking about the taunt, The Captain had a thought.

This town was mocking him, offering him back the ability that would have been the most useful in that fight in Westport only after it was too late to go back.

Still, he had to test it to be sure. Flying up to where Scout was and hovering in the air. Eyeing that gun.]

Right, you think you're a ☠☠☠☠ now? Prove it. Shoot me, Doc.

Damn right I am. Always have been.

[He gives you a confused frown.] Last thing you need is ta have yer face splattered all over tha landscape, Rummy. This thing packs a whallop.

*Hime is sitting on her porch, staring at scout like he's a retard.*

What on earth are you doing?

[He almost runs by, by makes a last second turn. BLAM! He launches himself over her fence and lands on the porch in front of her, stumbling to a skidding halt. He's laughing and grinning like mad.]

... Shotguns in your world can make you jump better?

Well, just this one, an' just me. [He twirls it around his finger, still grinning.]

[Ooh look! A new girl to impress!

Grinning and running like the wind down the street, Scout jumps high into the air, points the shotgun downward and fires. It blasts him into the air even higher. He lands on her lawn perfectly. Well almost. That ankle's gonna hurt later, sheesh. But he just laughs it off for now.]

Whatcha think 'a THAT?

[He shakes a little, still grinning.] 'S nothin'! All part 'a tha job.

You... Why are you having such fun with a firearm?

Uh, cuz I can do THIS?

[Runs past FF, and double jumps high into the air. He points the gun at the road and fires. The little gun packs a hell of a punch, and it launches him even higher. He lands in a tree branch, almost slippnig but manages to hang on. He gives her a huge grin, wink and a thumbs-up.]

That is a very useful escape tactic.
