And a silence has finally fallen over my house. Kota's snoring is the loudest thing in the house right now, and after a crazy week, silence is all I could ask for. At least almost all of us handled it a tad bit more mature than usual this time around.

The taste of loss is of mud and grass, possibly with a bit of bird shit mixed in. It's hard coming off an 8-1 season into another starting off with a 35-5 loss. I finally saw Casablanca over break. What a fantastic movie. I think my favorite part about it is that it's a wonderful love story, but it doesn't make you yearn to fall in love after. Same argument could be made for Moulin Rouge, too, but the two on are totally different, uncomparable plains.
