hmm....that's a toughy, actually.... I love biology, and all the courses themselves are really very awesome, but there's a lot more that comes with a bio degree than just straight....er...bio. To get a BSc in biology, you need to fulfill all the faculty of science degree requirements as well, so that means taking math, physics, and general chemistry, as well as breadth courses and electives. Depending on your program, you may or may not have to take physical chem and organic chem too. There's also a fair bit of biochemistry (that I really don't like much), and...of course...biology's a huuuuuge subject, so you've got to pick what part of it you want to go into (I'm in cell biology and genetics, for example, but you could go into ecology, animal or plant physiology, environmental/conservational biology, evolutionary biology, etc. oh yeah, and general biology)
hmm....I don't know if that helped at all. Basically, it's awesome...there's just a bunch of other stuff you have to go through as well!
Yeah, I was aware of the other sciences and math involved. I suck at math, big time. I'm interested in animal biology, anything to do with animals really. environmental/conservational biology is interesting as well.
sure! I'm retardedly busy these days, but you're well worth squeezing in somewhere. Telephone-moi sometime after 4:30pm any day this weekend/next week. Next weekend is pretty open, too, methinks (er...except Sunday...and not Saturday from 1pm - 4pm)
heart heart
ps. Adam would like to hang out with you one of these days as well. pps. I went to Wreck with Jess and Steve! I thought of you..
