Caffrey's entry today got me thinking about music. I think that theres no one genre for me to listen to. Looking through my some-1700 songs i find everything from 50's to punk, to rap, and yes, even country. I liked your entry very much. Your quote, "an annoying genre doesn't make for a bad song" is a very good one. Every genre has a couple of songs i like, even country has the devil went down to Georgia and The Man of Constant Sorrow. To expand on that thought, musicians i dont like can still surpirse me once in a while with a good song. A prime example of this is Trick Daddy. Chapman used to play him all the time and i hated it, along with the whole thug-rap thing, but i really like that song Dro in The wind. Anywho, I'm glad you and I can think along very similar lines when it comes to our taste of music.
