First the synagogues, and now the British Consulate and a British bank! I am furious. Turkey was a safe place to be for a long time, but I guess it is not so safe anymore. Fuck it! I have no doubt the next target will be a US embassy or a company etc. I simply do not understand what they are hoping to achieve with these attacks. It is so sick! ( Read more... )

It is hard. I am really sad. It is not easy to look at the pictures of the wrecked buildings and wounded people. I hope the security forces can prevent possible future attacks. It won't be easy though, so I am afraid we will hear about new attacks soon. :(

*HUGS* I am so sorry. I cant imagine your pain and frustration. Im so sorry this happened. It is so horrible and I understand the feelings of helplessness.

(On a side note... thank you so much for being so caring and calling me the other night... I was so upset and couldnt return any calls... so I hope you understand. I really do thank you SO much for being so thoughtful and calling me. It meant the world to me.)

I was wondering what you are doing on Thanksgiving... if you, or you and J would care to join some of my friends and I at a bar near here to celebrate my birthday... I totally understand if you cannot make it, but I wanted to extend the offer. And if not, we need to get together very soon.

Anyway... I pray there are no more attacks... and I am so sorry this happened. *HUGS*

I was wondering why you didn't update the last few days. Good to hear from you again. :) And don't worry about not returning my call. I understand. Like I said, you can call me anytime you want. :)

And thanks for the invitation! I will see what I can do about it. Things have been really frustrating here. You know the story, and I just changed my return date today. I am leaving in 3 weeks. So we need to get together very soon indeed.
