This is quite long and it took some time. But I enjoyed doing it. Plus, you will get to learn something about me...Food-wise. :)

What's the last thing you ate?
Half a slice of bread with cream cheese.

What's your favourite cheese?I am a cheese monster. I could not live without it and I mean it. For me, cheese is a must at the breakfast table. ( Read more... )

RIGHT! Hehe.. Thanks for reminding me. It was really good. Too bad we don't have it here. Well, as far as I know... I think I would know if we had it. Jon is a very good cook. I envy people like that. Everybody on mom's and dad's sides of the family are good cooks including my parents themselves. So it is interesting that I turned out like this, heh. I have to practise so much!

I just found this and printed out the recipe for Kisir! I love bulgur and it looks like something my vegetarian friends will love too --It will be such a relief to try something that isn't Thai or tofu or found among the "traditional" vegetarian dishes... I have to admit, I'm getting rather sick of tofu! Thank you!

You are welcome. :) Kısır is such a delicious dish. I hope you and your friends will like it. I love bulgur too. I would eat anything made of it, heh. Do you have any recipes you want to share? :)

I have a recipe for chocolate chess pie at home... Delicious! A true southern dish from the US. Looking at the internet, I did find this recipe -- I'll compare the two when I get home and see what I think. I'm not sure how you would adjust it for European kitchens though.

Thank you! I was actually wondering if you had any recipes for bulgur dishes. Sorry if that was not clear. However, having such a sweet tooth, I am not complaining about this recipe at all. Mmm.. thanks again. :)
