So Carl goes to West Virginia for three days and GUESS FREAKING WHAT? a FUCKING TORNADO WARNING!!! Specifically for Martinsville. Now for those of you that don't know me that well. Well I made it out alive. After staying up for another hour (just in case another tornado decided to rip through this town) I finally went to bed, only to be awaken by my terrified cat who is just as much as a wuss as I am during tornado warnings. But at least I am alive and now I must deal with the cold. woo hoo!

Tornadoes aren't really all that common around here. If you live in a trailer park, you might have cause to worry, if not, stick pillows in the bathroom/interior hallway grab a bottle of wine and drink away the warning!

I like your wine advice :). Next time there is a warning I'll be sure to do that. Fortunately I don't live in a trailer part, just on the top floor of an apartment building :). I made it out alive but that wind was pretty brutual for awhile. Hopefully the next time my husband goes out of town mother nature is a little softer one me :).

Don't sweat it!! You'll be cool. Try to think of it as an adventure. I used to live in GA and had 3 tornadoes in 2 years go through my front yard and one took part of our roof! It's freaky but VERY survivable. At least there aren't major earthquake hazards around here. The ones we have are itty bitty.
