It has come to my attention that I haven't posted a damn thing in here for what some might call ages. This is practically abandonware now, not sure what I'll do with it

We're all good at different things, and if that were not so, this community would be a very orring place in which to exist. I should, in all fairness, on a completely random deviant like to point out that you despised those who abandoned there lj's for twitter and facebook at one point. This amuses me, but yet how we all grow and change...

You're absolutely right. I did say that.
What I found even more abhorrant though, were the twitter to LJ things that popped up left, right and centre.
Blogging, as Microblogging, has it's place, one has to know when to use each platform, and for the correct use. At least that's how I personally see it.

Hi, Andre! Thank goodness the posting of lots of tweets to LJ seems to be an extinct species now: like you, I always loathed that! I can see why you've taken to Twitter, with it being far more instant than LJ, but I'm glad you haven't given up on LJ completely. There is definitely a place for all kinds of blogging, that's for sure! Since you feel sure you won't post here again till after your birthday, should I wish you a happy birthday now? No, I don't think so, it's far too early! (Smile).

Well it's nice to know I'm following your blog over there, and I happen to be subscribed to your wifey's youtube channel. :) I've only recently started writing in LJ, though I encourage you to never ever go there. I haven't anything interesting to say. At least not yet anyhow. I've purchased a copy of A State of Mind, and it came lovely packaged. Still waiting for Andre's next album :P
