Arvedui: *mutter*
Frealaf: *glares*
Arvedui: We're supposed to be civil to each other. Firiel asked. *tries, rather unsuccessfully, not to glare back*
Frealaf: You should ask her how successful she's been in getting me to be nice to her friends. Besides, I thought you were...far away.
Arvedui: . So did I. Anyway, I'm here, and me and Artamir talked with her and she, and you, are coming back with us to Arthedain. It's much safer there than in Minas Tirith, or Rohan, and that Vanyon has been feeding on her again >.<
Frealaf: *nods* She's told me. I can't say as though I'm looking forward to it, but it's what she wants and that's all I care about.
Arvedui: Good. I hope there will be no further problems between us, for her sake. *offers his good hand*
Frealaf: *hesitates slightly, then shakes his hand firmly* As long as you don't bait and annoy me like Theo does, we should be just fine.
Arvedui: *nods* I have no intention of doing that. However, do not think you can disrespect me in my own home. *pointed look* You will be a guest, nothing more.
Frealaf: *returns the look* I would expect nothing less than how you would treat Firiel.
Arvedui: *sighs* That, I'm afraid, will be impossible. There are places only she and I can go, and things only she and I can see as those who were once Lord and Lady of the house. Everything else, however, will be the same between you.
Will that satisfy you, horselord?
Frealaf: *raises an eyebrow* And what if she chooses to take me to those places and to see those things?
Arvedui: That will be her choice and right. I can only hope you will not push her to that choice if she is unwilling.
Frealaf: I have never pushed her into anything.
Arvedui: Good. Is there anything else you want from me?
Frealaf: For the sake of propriety, I won't answer that.
Arvedui: *rolls eyes* Have it your way. I'll be in the library if you change your mind.
Frealaf: *nods* Alright.
Arvedui: *nods* *departs*
