-The guy that played the Emperor before, is still playing him.

People thought the guy who played Senator Palpatine was going to play Emperor Palpatine on the DVDs? Anyone who believes that...is absolutely right. Senator and Emperor Palpatine were both played by Ian McDiarmid anyway.

I don't understand, what's the deal with the new DVD thing? New cast members? What?

A lot of people were making stupid assumptions. As far as I know, the DVDs are just the special editions of each movie and a bonus disc.

Though I was wrong on one thing...yeah, yeah, I know, BFD (that's "Big Fucking Deal" for all you slow folks). He did have the audacity to replace the ghost. But even so, that's what ten seconds? It's not worth getting up in arms about and taking it all personal. It is just a movie. He didn't alter anything up to that point. All the other shit was just that...shit. People really need to live their lives, that was my whole point, stop relying on everyone else to fill you in if you aren't willing to experience it.

Besides, Coursey's a Trekkie.

Hate to say anything about "learning the facts," but they DID replace Palpatine...in "The Empire Strikes Back." Ian McDiarmid wasn't originally in "Empire." The Emperor hologram was acted by a woman and the voice by a guy who's done a lot of voice-overs.

I understand your point, but it seems a bit ironic to get so upset about how people are getting so upset :)

Yeah, but he was a bit part in Empire. They could have left that scene out.

And I was talking about alterations AFTER the special edition VHS.

I was more annoyed at being attacked for something that has nothing to do with me.
