Below, I have pasted a nasty email my own flesh-and-blood brother wrote to Amy; if you thought Rose was cruel, you've seen nothing yet. Even so, this is the least appalling of the thousands of emails sent between he and his depraved wife.

"You conniving, manipulative wretch...I can see right through you Amy. You've fooled my sister and my father, ( Read more... )

No emotion exists to express what I felt when I read those emails, and Amy is astounded at the amount of raw anger that Chris holds toward her--having no reasons other than those weaved from his wife's petty lies and his own substitution for reality. The saddest part is, when my father first sat me down and had me read those messages in order to fully piece the situation together...I laughed. He laughed, Amy laughed...the three of us just laughed at the quandary in its entirety, because we didn't know what else to do.

My dear.

I hope that your college search is going along well and that, shortly, you will be deposited in an alternate environment. I don't know (or really care) if your brother is "right" or Amy and your father are "right" - the whole thing is ridiculous and you could be focusing your energies and impressive mental faculties towards more worthy pursuits.

Too. Much. Drama. You need stability in order to thrive.

Deem it twisted, but...I believe all of this "drama" has done me a world of good. I don't know that I would be where I am today if it weren't for incest, alcohol, and the depravity of others; it's made me stronger, helped me mature far more emotionally and intellectually than most 40-year-olds.

Never will I allow debauchery to interfere with my educational pursuits, they are much too important to me...as is my significant other. In brief, I've too many blessings ahead of me and I would hate to cause ruin, so don't you worry. <3
