so my hamster is always trying to escape. this decreases my self esteem a lot. Sure she'll crawl up into my hand but it's only so that i can then be used as an easier means of escaping into the wider world. i probablly shouldn't let a rodent make me feel so inept

maybe it's just a wild, untamed hamster that can't be trained. until you come along and finally break it, and race it in the kentucky derby, becoming champion for life!
