Even if your mom is mad, she can't stay mad at you forever. You're her daughter. Generation gaps are tricky, but time builds bridges over them. She just hasn't had a chance to understand the situation yet, and people usually fear what they don't understand. Eventually she'll realize that you're still the same you, and you're just fine that way.
