For the first time in the last 20 years, Russian national football (soccer) team will play in a semi-final of the European Championship.

I added you too. I hope America is treating you well! I too am familiar with the medical field. I am an OR nurse by training, but work at our airport now. My Fiancee is Nurse Anesthetist.....if you're not familiar with the term, he does Anesthesia.

Yay! I even heard about that win and I don't even watch soccer games :)

This IS a great step forward for Russian soccer team. It seems we finally have real team that works as a team. Wish us luck for tomorrow's semi-final game with Spain! It would be hard.

ah well. But at least Spain went on to win it all so it was indeed a tough game.

When I asked my sister how bad it was, she sent me the following: "worse than you could imagine"...
Oh well, we made it the semi-final, that's a great win, but I know that these guys are not ready yet for the big victory. Next time ;)
