front door, when she catches sight of a --a dog? A wolf? racing away
from the building. She ducks out of sight, instinctively reaching for the
crossbow in her tote. The scent carried on the wind makes her stomach
turn. A demon--?
She hurries up the sidewalk as it disappears, still keeping a wary eye out
in case it returns. The door's battered, claw marks and one of the hinges broken.
She gets the door open, wincing...then freezes, if only for a second. Oh, no--

Unconscious, but breathing, and her pulse is strong when Willow touches her wrist. She pulls off the scarf she's wearing, wrapping
it tightly around Fred's shoulder. Not the best choice for a bandage, but it'll have to do until they can get to a hospital.
The bleeding seems to slow. Willow checks quickly, but doesn't see
any other injuries.
