So I'm on my way to the office a day or two ago, and while going Westbound on the 10 freeway towards Santa Monica, the semi in front of me notices the lane closure ahead too late and slams on his brakes. His tires skid out and smoke, but since I'm a pretty sensible driver (after all the miles I logged last year in a truck I learned a thing or two)

My word. At least you're physically OK. I got in an accident too the other day, but it was much less dramatic. I rear ended a car full of MassHoles going about .5 miles per hour at a stop light, and got screamed at like I had shot one of their Grandmothers.

At least they didn't hit and run....
