and i heartily approve of your new car, did you name it yet? Hondas rule. trust me, they'll go for-freaking-ever, my first car was a 92 Honda Accord standard shift, and we drove it cross-country about four or six times (including through the Rocky Mountains), and we bought it used. parts are a bit expensive, but that car will most likely (knock on wood) last you until you graduate from college.
one clue: make sure you start out in first gear. the car doesn't like to go when you start it in second. it was my main mistake when driving stick. and hills are scary. but as soon as you figure it out, it's sooooo much fun to drive, and Honda clutches are very forgiving...i miss my car now...*sniffle*
